Emergency Support and Relief

House of Hope Africa works within impoverished communities where high work output does not necessarily equate to financial gain. Mixed with the harsh living conditions and high risk activities associated with these lower socioeconomic areas, many families often find themselves without the basic needs such as food, clean water, clothing and suitable shelter.

Aligning with Proverbs 3:28,

“If you can help your neighbour now, don’t say, “Come back tomorrow, and then I’ll help you”

House of Hope Africa believes that showing the true love of Christ, especially to those who find themselves in a state of desperation, hopelessness and despair, requires an active hands on approach to demonstrate the Gospel.

House of Hope Africa therefore works practically within the community to show love in action. The organisation facilitates emergency relief in a number of areas including the provision of food hampers to families who are without food; clean water to the wider community who without it would be collecting and drinking water from shallow, contaminated water holes; clothing supplies and other forms of necessary support that constitutes a person’s basic rights being upheld.
